Dr. Stuart Youmans grew up in Casper, trained through a VA hospital surgical residency, and came home in 1998 to practice. Replacing every tooth on an arch is surgery, engineering, and artistry at once, and he handles all three: he plans the case, places the implants, and restores the teeth himself. In 2025 he opened Legacy Institute in Casper.

Your doctor and the people making your teeth work in the same building, so adjustments happen quickly and in person.

How long do dental implants last?
Dental implants are designed to provide long-term tooth replacement and can last for decades with appropriate care. The implant, the abutment, and the teeth attached to them each have a different expected lifespan, and Dr. Youmans explains what to expect from each part at your consultation.
Is the implant procedure painful?
Most patients experience minimal discomfort. You are sedated for full-arch procedures, and most patients say they slept through it. Many manage afterward with over-the-counter pain relievers for a couple of days.
What if I live hours away from Casper?
Patients come to Wyo Dental Implants from across Wyoming. If you are traveling a long distance, your initial consultation can happen over the phone, and the records and surgery visits can be combined, typically up to 3 days in total, so you can have new teeth on your first physical visit to the office.
